I just think overall, Namco have really delivered and deserve credit for what they've delivered in T7.

If we got another TT2 plus added depth whilst us fans who've played it for years would love it, the growth would be minimal and really not great for the future of Tekken. I think that changes for growth is incredibly important in this day and age, although obviously not completely at the expense of gameplay. The attention/popularity of Tekken now compared to beforehand is like night and day, and a lot of the new things they've added are responsible for that. I still believe that as an experience overall for everyone (not just vets but casuals and newcomers) T7 has been great/even better. If we're talking from the perspective of depth then yes, TT2 is hard to top, and would be somewhat underwhelming.That's not a point of view I'd take though because whilst I love the depth of Tekken, it's not the only thing I'm after.
